Stuffed Green Peppers
Ingredients:
2 lg green peppers
¾ lb ground beef
1/3 c chopped onion
1 - 7 ½oz can tomatoes
1/3 c long grain rice
1 T Worcestershire. sauce
½ t dried basil or oregano
½ c shredded cheese
¼ t salt
¼ t pepper

| Directions:
 Preheat oven to 375°
Halve peppers lengthwise, removing stem, seeds, and membranes
Immerse peppers into boiling water, for 3 min
Sprinkle insides w/ salt
Invert on paper towels to drain
In Chef Series™ 8" Nonstick Fry Pan, cook meat and onion -drain
Stir in un-drained tomatoes, uncooked rice, with sauce, basil, ½ c water, salt, and pepper
Bring to boiling - Reduce heat, cover, simmer for 15-18 min, or till rice is tender
Stir in half of cheese
Fill peppers w/ meat mixture
Bake, covered with foil, 375 degrees for 45 min.
Sprinkle w/ remaining cheese last 5-10 min
